A modeling of complex features and a Web Feature Service(WFS) system for its implementation is introduced. The rules of defining the complex feature type are discussed. Web Feature Service(WFS) transfers data through GML, but GML has a lot of redundancy, also building and transmission GML is time-consuming, it is difficult to satisfy user under current bandwidth. Web要素服务通过GML传递空间数据,但是由于GML描述方式冗余度大,生成和传输GML的时间长,在现有的网络带宽下难以令用户满意。
