Deformation and ultimate force of the light weight abutment are analyzed. Calculating results show that the approximate beam theory is safety to evaluate the resistance of abutment under strong vibrating and impact force. 结合对轻型桥台变形和受力极限值的分析可知，按近似梁的理论评价桥台承受振动及冲击的能力是安全的。
